Artist BIO

Astrid was born in Medellin, Colombia, where she studied Visual Arts and History and received her Fine Art Certification and Art History B.A. from National University of Colombia. Subsequently, she traveled to Spain and earned her Masters Degree in Art History at the Basque Country University.� �After living several years in Spain, Mora returned to the U.S.A, and made her home in West Palm Beach where she studied at PBSC to obtain her dual-certification in Art K-12 and Education. In 2007 she was honored to receive the �Academic Excellence Award in Painting� from Palm Beach State College. �Mora works as an Art Elementary Teacher with the School District of Palm Beach County. In 2019 was nom�nate as a Florida Teacher of the Year. Her artwork has been exhibit in Colombia, Spain and USA.�
