Artist BIO

My name is Amber Kerrigan and I'm an artist and designer from Virginia. I graduated from VCU's art program in 2017 with a degree in fashion design and after graduating rekindled my love of painting I had when I was younger. Now my passion for art expands over many artistic mediums but my main ones include abstract art using acrylic and mixed media, print/pattern design, graphic design and digital art. For my abstract art, bold colors, fluidity, texture and layering are all major elements in my work. I like to paint intuitively and mainly focus on color relationships and the different emotions colors elicit in the viewer. My design work and my art all play off of and inspire each other and l love to learn new ways to combine my many passions.
